E-commerce Organizing and Wireframing
The Treasure Chest
As the sole UX designer and information architect, I was tasked with designing an e-commerce site for a fictional brick and mortar toy store. The Stakeholders' main concern was that the site must retain the store brand, a mom-n-pop feel, while expanding the customer base and balancing business needs. They also emphasized the importance of a clean design that would be navigationally intuitive.

The Process
Iterations, sketches, flows. I began with stakeholder interviews and used the information to conduct competitive and comparative analyses. Having been provided a list of the top 100 selling items, I used open card sorting to create a basis for the site's navigation. I then created a site map a site map and user flows:

Through constant contact and iterations with the stakeholders, I developed wireframes that reflected the business needs and user goals.
